What’s Cooking Pickle Book appears to be a recipe book in narrative form, with contributions from members of a community called Old Town in Chicago Illinois. The original What’s Cooking Pickle Book was purchased by artist Leah Rosenberg from Steven Leiber’s Basement, a collector and dealer in artist ephemera, in San Francisco, CA. It was with Leah Rosenberg an unspecified amount of time and then sent via airmail to Imin Yeh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2016 as a surprise gift. Leah and Imin have collaborated in a few interactive Art, Food, Print events loosely referred to as Jews for Dim Sum (2012-2016). This is a facsimile of the original book, printed in an edition of 20.
